If you would like to apply to become an approved engineer of the Activair range of air source heat pumps, then please complete your details below and attach relevant copy certification(s), some examples of which are detailed below: -
All companies/persons that apply to become Activair "approved engineers" are required to demonstrate a level of competence through installation
and maintenance of heating products for example being members of "Oftec" or "Corgi", or having other suitable
plumbing qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 and 3 in plumbing or City & Guilds 6089.
Unvented Hot Water Certificate
We accept Unvented Hot Water Certificates from the following: BPEC, Logic, City & Guilds 6019, NIC and Building Engineering Services (CITB)
BPEC (Certificate in Energy Efficiency in Domestic Heating)
Or any similar energy efficiency approved schemes such as City & Guilds 6080
All Activair approved engineers are also expected to adhere to the 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act (HSAWA)
It is also recommended that engineers attend our training course on Activair.
